Redwood Coast Developmental Services Corporation (RCDSC) Regular Meeting of the Board of Directors will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. at Oceans 675 by Northwoods, 675 US Hwy 101 South in Crescent City, CA. Of particular interest will be a discussion to propose an update to the RCDSC Bylaws to change the date of the Annual Meeting from the month of July to the meeting date scheduled prior to the end of the Fiscal Year (May or June). Public input regarding this potential update should be directed to Kim Orsi, RCRC Executive Assistant at 707-462-3832 x 260 or by email at by March 13, 2019. Redwood Coast Regional Center (RCRC) will be hosting a public meeting on Thursday, March 7, 2019 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. to discuss how RCRC utilized funds in 2017/2018 and will seek public input to help us improve how we serve our community and how we reduce observed disparities.  Please click the following link for location details: click here

DDS and Burns & Associates Rate Study:

DDS and Burns & Associates have completed a Rate Study that impacts the rates for service providers/vendors. Please take a look at the two links below that will direct you to Burns & Associates where the Rate Study information is held. There are three methodologies that are being used for the study:

  • Base Rates by Service Codes
  • High/Low cost areas
  • Transportation

Effective January 1, 2018, Welfare and Institutions Code section 4686.5 is repealed and the limits on the purchase of respite services will no longer apply. Redwood Coast Regional Center will continue to work with clients and families to identify individual needs based on the person centered planning process and individual needs assessment process. The Client Benefit Committee of the RCDSC Board of Directors announces that the Client Benefit Fund will accept grant requests in the months of February and June. To submit a request, (A) Complete the CBF Request FORM, (B) Give the completed form to your Service Coordinator to finalize (C) After finalizing the form, the Service Coordinator will give the form to Kim O. @ the Ukiah office and (D) Kim O. will give the requests to the Client Benefit Fund Committee.
